Who We Are - Management Team
David serves as both the Chief Executive Officer of Reward Paths and New Zealand parent,
Incentive Solutions Ltd. He is also the chief inspiration behind the Reward Paths team and
original architect of the blended US-NZ business model.
David began his career in the consumer products industry in New Zealand as an executive
trainee. Twelve years and various positions later, he rose to the position of National Sales
Manager for Montana Wines. As the regulatory climate changed in New Zealand and distribution
channel restrictions were removed, David led his team to launch new wine products into
Supermarkets throughout the country.
An entrepreneur at heart, David left the consumer products industry to start his own
Merchandising and Sales Promotion Company. While the venture was successful, David became
increasing focused on incentives marketing and the unique characteristics of reward and
recognition programs. He eventually sold his share of the company to his partner in 1999 and
formed Incentive Solutions Ltd. (ISL) to specialize in the incentive and loyalty programs marketplace.
Incentive Solutions is now one of the largest Incentive Companies in NZ with a blue chip client base.
Their focus is primarily trade and staff programs in the B2B marketplace and traditional, points-based
consumer loyalty programs. David leads a team of professionals responsible for program development,
technology, operations, rewards sourcing and fulfillment. His particular expertise is most evident
in sales and channel partner programs for clients serving the grocery, convenience store and
hardware/home improvement retail sectors.
In 2003 Incentive Solutions set up a joint venture with Gary O'Brien of Promotional Results in
Sydney, Australia to promote their services to this larger market. In 2008, David and his management
team formed Reward Paths in the US to apply their proven techniques and affordable technology to the
rewards and loyalty marketplace for American mid-market companies

Deborah began her career as a Chartered Accountant with Pricewaterhouse Coopers
in Auckland before moving to the UK as Financial Controller for Mercuri International, sales
and management training specialists. On returning to New Zealand 7 years later, she used her
experience to specialize in service industries, and worked with The Radio Network's radio bureau
and independent news divisions as Finance Manager, followed by House of Travel as Financial
Controller for the wholesale travel division. She joined Incentive Solutions in March 2006 and
holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Auckland with membership to the New
Zealand Institute of Accountants.
At Reward Paths, Deb and her team assist clients in understanding and managing point liability issues, account reconciliations and billing issues. She also serves as Reward Paths chief financial officer and is a member of the Advisory Council.
David has worked in the IT industry in New Zealand and the UK for over 12 years.
Previously working for Cable & Wireless (UK) as a database administrator and website
developer, British Airways Engineering and EDS on the desktop refresh Y2K compliance
project team, and Coca-Cola Schweppes (UK) as part of the customer database migration
team, he has worked in the loyalty business for the last 4 years.
Higgsy, as David is called by friends, clients and co-workers, is the principal architect of the Reward Paths loyalty and rewards management platform. He is responsible for helping Reward Paths clients integrate their transactional and customer files to Incentive Control and assists in developing time saving, cost saving Technology Paths solutions. The technical support group at Reward Paths also reports to Higgsy. |
